Bookings arriving as messages
Three inboxes, eleven at night. No record, no deposit, no idea how many you missed.
People book treatments late at night, on a phone, having mostly decided what they want. They are checking the price, the length of the appointment, the recovery and whether there is a slot this week. Your site needs to answer all four. Whether it then takes the booking and the deposit, or simply gets the phone ringing, is your call, not ours.
From £470+VAT, fixed in writing before any work starts.
The situation
Six things we see again and again, all from a site built to look nice rather than to do a job. Some of these will be yours and some will not. The ones that are not need no fixing.
Three inboxes, eleven at night. No record, no deposit, no idea how many you missed.
Last year's price on the site, this year's on the wall. Clients arrive expecting the wrong one.
UK rules on advertising cosmetic and prescription treatments are easy to breach by accident.
Mismatched pairs, huge files, no labels. A problem rather than a booking.
So thin that neither a client nor a search engine can tell one treatment from the next.
No deposit, no no-show cover. A diary that looks full is not a diary that pays.
What we build
Treatment work is bought on detail. Put the length, the feel, the downtime, the aftercare and the price on one page, with an obvious way to act at the bottom, and the enquiry stops being a message you answer between clients. For a lot of clinics and salons that is the whole job, and a phone number is the right button.
How far it goes past that depends on how your day actually runs. The range we can handle, each one optional and priced on its own:
The screen shown here is an example of the fuller version, not a checklist you have to buy.
Always included
Plenty of clinics and salons need a handful of pages, honest prices and a phone number that rings. That is a perfectly good website and we will not talk you out of it, or into a booking system you never asked for.
Whatever size the build ends up, these are in it. None of them is an upgrade and none of them turns up as a surprise line later.
Get a fixed quoteDrawn for you, never a shared theme with your logo dropped into it.
Almost everybody who finds you is holding one, often late at night. The phone version is the real version.
For the treatments you lead with: how long it takes, what it feels like, downtime, aftercare and price. That detail is what people search for and what decides the booking.
Written with UK advertising rules for cosmetic and prescription treatments in mind. Anything borderline is flagged for you to check.
Before and after content presented consistently, compressed properly and labelled correctly, so comparisons stay fair and the page stays fast.
Health information is a special category under UK GDPR. Wherever a form collects it, consent and retention are configured properly.
Technical SEO, schema and page speed handled in the build, with the hours and prices on your Google Business Profile matched to what the site says.
Contrast, keyboard use, labels and text size done properly. A clinic site that a screen reader cannot use is turning away the people most likely to need you.
Registered in your name, handed over at launch. You are never locked in and you never need our permission to move.
If you want it, and only if you want it
None of this is inside the £470 and none of it is assumed. Tell us how the clinic or salon actually runs and we will say which of these earns its money for you, which does not, and what each one costs as its own line. Take one, take none, or come back to it next year.
Connected to the diary your team already knows, or a tidy link out to the system you pay for now. If your bookings come by phone and that works, keep it.
A deposit taken at the point of booking, a course paid for up front, or a card held against a no-show. Worth it when empty slots are costing you real money.
Only worth having if somebody is free to answer it. We will say so plainly. A chat box nobody is watching is worse than no chat box.
Consultation forms, medical history and consent gathered before the appointment, aftercare notes and course credits kept behind a login.
For treatments priced by area, by session count or by plan, so somebody can get to a realistic number without ringing to ask.
Skincare and aftercare products, gift vouchers or course packages, with stock and postage set up so the shop is not a second job.
Your CRM, email marketing, recall reminders or review requests. If you already pay for a tool, the site should feed it rather than replace it.
Pricing
£470 to £1,000 is roughly four to eight pages. What yours costs depends on how many pages you need and whether anything is connected to the site.
Starting at
One figure and one delivery date, in writing, before any work starts. Bigger sites are quoted the same way, and so is anything optional, booking included, as its own line you can say no to.

No. Plenty of clinics and salons do perfectly well with a clear treatment list, honest prices and a phone number that rings, and we will not push you past that. If you do want booking, we can connect the site to the diary your team already knows, or link out to the system you pay for now. Booking is scoped and priced separately from the site, so you can see what it costs before you decide.
We write with those rules in mind and flag anything borderline back to you rather than publishing it and hoping. Prescription treatments in particular cannot be advertised to the public in the UK. We are designers, not your regulator, so anything flagged is yours to check against your own professional guidance.
Consistently, and with the pair clearly labelled. We set how those images are sized, cropped, compressed and captioned, so the page stays fast and a client can see what is being compared. We will not retouch a result or flatter a treatment beyond what it does.
No, and not at the entry price. £470 to £1,000 is roughly four to eight pages, so we start with the treatments that bring people in and the ones searched for by name. The rest sit on a clear price list. A page earns its place when there is something to say: how long it takes, how it feels, the downtime, the aftercare. More pages can be added later and are quoted when you want them.
All possible, none of it assumed. Those sit outside the website price and are quoted on their own, so you can take them, leave them or come back to them next year. We will also say when something is not worth the money at the size you are at. Live chat with nobody free to answer it is worse than no chat at all.
Send the form or email us and a designer calls you back within 48 hours with a fixed price and a delivery date. If all you want is a simple site, say so. That is a normal answer here, and we will tell you if we are not the right fit.
